Yen Fie (Our Home) explores the idea of home as something carried rather than fixed. Drawing on influences from Nigeria, Ghana, the Caribbean and Britain. The work depicts a domestic scene shaped by migration, cultural inheritance and memory.
Through layered textiles and reclaimed materials, the piece reflects on the ways identity is constructed across generations and geographies. The home becomes both a physical space and a symbolic site where histories, relationships and belonging intersect.
