Since day one, Joy Osula has existed at the intersection of creativity and community. Every drop carries purpose; whether it’s telling a story through Adire or helping someone, somewhere, move forward with dignity.

2020 – The Beginning: Masks for Mutual Aid

At the height of the pandemic, we began by crafting African print face masks by hand and donating a portion of proceeds to a UK-based charity supporting people with disabilities.
Impact: 100+ masks made, with funds donated toward mobility equipment and carer support.

2023 - 2024: Aid for Rural Education Access Initiative (AREAi)

We contributed to Aid for Rural Education Access Initiative (AREAi), an EdTech non-profit that designs and provides interactive digital and offline learning tools for children living in rural areas, persons with disabilities, Indigenous people and refugee children.

2025 – Solidarity Through HAS (Humanitarian Action for Sudan)

As crises continue to unfold across the Global South, we committed 25% of profits from the Ehimen Cardigan to Humanitarian Action for Sudan (HAS) a grassroots organisation feeding families displaced by conflict.

Impact: Ongoing. Donations went towards support food baskets, emergency care, and shelter supplies.

2025 - 2026 - Teach Ebelle Children (TEC) Initiative

In partnership with a local community in rural Edo State, Nigeria, we contributed to an initiative funding four youth corps teachers in our ancestral village in Ebelle.
This included teacher stipends, basic housing, and learning supplies to support underserved children in accessing a proper education.
Impact: Over 360 children reached across 3 academic years.
