Sip & Sew: Repair, Rework & Reimagine

Saturday 28 February · 2:00 - 3:30 pm @ Wimbledon Art Studios

Sip & Sew is a relaxed, communal sewing session for anyone who wants to repair, rework, or gently transform a garment they already own. This is not a formal sewing class. It’s a low pressure making space where you’ll be guided through simple techniques, have access to sewing machines, and spend time creating alongside others.

Whether you’re fixing a tear, adjusting the fit, or experimenting with a new shape, this session is about care, creativity, and connection. Prosecco, tea, coffee, and non alcoholic drinks will be available. No sewing experience required.

What to Bring ?

1. One garment you’d like to repair or rework

2. An open mind, finishing is not required!

Optional: buttons, trims, or sentimental fabric

Ticket Options

£15 | Repair

Simple hand-stitch repairs, loose seams, buttons, and basic hemming.

£20 | Rework

Garment alterations and light restructuring, with shared access to all sewing machines.

£25 | Reimagine

Deeper garment transformation with priority access to beginner to expert sewing machines and more one to one guidance.

This is a guided communal session, not a full sewing course. Projects may be started rather than finished. Spaces are limited to keep the session intimate.
